To: Whom It May Concern
I contracted Knowles Mobile Marine to paint the entire exterior surfaces
of my recently completely refitted 40 Foot Egg Harbor sport fisherman.
Jeff Knowles and his crew were very proficient in the preparation of the
vessel and in the utilization of all of the preparation and fairing materials
necessary to properly prepare the surface to be painted. He is also very
skilled in the area of application of Awlgrip polyurethane paint as the
final topcoat finish. Jeff and his crew worked with both newly made surfaces
including raw fiberglass in a newly constructed cockpit and other new,
updated and modified parts of the vessel and refinished the remaining
original surfaces in a workmanlike and professional manner. The final
result was an excellent yacht quality finish which has added value to
my vessel and is a job that will stand up to the scrutiny of any surveyor
or future buyers. Jess is obviously very knowledgeable in the area of
application of Awlgrip and the preparation involved in achieving a Bristol,
yacht quality finish. His many years of experience show through in the
excellent final result of his work. If you have any questions regarding
the quality of Knowles Mobile Marine’s ability to properly prepare
and paint a vessel please feel free to contact me at (954) 785-9777. I
would recommend Knowles Mobile Marine for any vessel to be painted and
would employ Jess again in any other refit or refinish project I encounter
in the future.
Sincerely,
Craig Serio
To Whom It May Concern:
I am the owner of a 1991, 55 ft. Ocean Sport Yacht that was in need of
replacing the teak back deck and the teak combing boards. After talking
to several fiberglass people, Jess Knowles was hired to do my job. Jess
was able to do the job in a timely matter and with the expertise to give
my new back deck that factory finish. He is very professional and very
knowledgeable of his profession. I will recommend him for any job; let
it be small or large. I trust he can do it all.
Sincerely,
Roger Adams
To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Jeffrey Knowles since September of 1997, when Knowles Marine
was hired to assist in a major refit to my 42 foot
motor yacht, Easy Victor.
His work on my vessel consisted of:
- Basic and fine carpentry.
- Removing and replacing of wood and fixtures, both
exterior and interior.
- Complete refinishing or all interior teak, including
bulkheads and decks.
- Refinishing of various doors, cabinets and drawers.
- Repair of exterior fiberglass.
- Touchup of exterior awlgrip.
This work was substantially completed by February of
1998 and I have subsequently called him back in 1999 to do additional
repairs. All of his work has been done to my satisfaction in a cost-effective,
timely, and cheerful manner. I would not hesitate to recommend his services
to anyone who required similar work to be done.
Sincerely yours,
Rick Richardson
Dear Jeff:
We would not hesitate to recommend Jeff Knowles of Knowles Marine Service
for any paint, rebuild or finish work on a Marine Vessel. Mr. Knowles
treats each vessel as if it were his own and his work is impeccable. He prices his work fairly and works hard to provide his customers with
what they have asked for, namely quality workmanship. Mr. Knowles finished out and painted our open fisherman and we would be
happy to speak with anyone who is considering contracting with Mr. Knowles
to complete their vessel.
Sincerely,
James Tytler
To Whom It May Concern:
Jeff Knowles has worked on two boats for me. He completely restored a
23 foot Mako approximately three years ago. As a result because of his
quality, I had him help supervise and build a 33 foot L & H sport
fisher. Jeff’s knowledge and quality work has been very good and I would
highly recommend him in this line of work.
Sincerely,
Ian Hall |
